Texas Children’s Health Plan covers
newborns and pregnant women. If you are already a member and are
pregnant then you have been enrolled in our STAR Babies program.
This program will help you through your pregnancy. Every month
you will get a newsletter in the mail.
You will also
receive free gifts during your pregnancy to help you prepare for
your baby. Texas Children’s Health Plan also gives baby showers
for our new moms.
If you are having
problems with your pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, our
Case Managers will help you understand how to stay healthy.
After your baby
is born we can also show you how to install your car seat.
