How do I
choose Texas Children’s Health Plan?
After you receive your enrollment form, you will need to
write in Texas Children’s Health Plan as your health plan. If
you need help filling out the form call the STAR Help Line at
1-800-964-2777.
What counties do Texas Children’s Health Plan service?
Texas Children’s Health Plan offers STAR in Harris, Brazoria, Fort
Bend, Galveston, Montgomery, Waller, Chambers, Hardin, Jasper,
Jefferson, Liberty, Newton, Orange, Polk, San Jacinto, Tyler and
Walker counties.

What if I have questions about my child’s health?
You should always ask your doctor about your child’s health. If
you don’t know who your doctor is, then call the Member Services
Department at 1-866-959-2555. You can also call our Nurse Help
Line at
1-800-686-3831 to ask questions about your child's health.
Nurses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
